48-Hour Cancellation & Rescheduling I truly understand that unexpected things come up, and I always appreciate your communication. As an independent hairstylist, I reserve your appointment time specifically for you. When an appointment is cancelled or repeatedly rescheduled, it can leave an opening that I’m unable to fill, resulting in lost income and preventing another client from having the opportunity to book. To help keep my schedule fair for everyone: • Less than 48 hours’ notice: 50% of the scheduled service will be charged. • Less than 24 hours’ notice, same-day cancellation, or no-shows 100% of the scheduled service will be charged. Rescheduling: Appointments may be rescheduled one time with at least 48 hours’ notice at no charge. If the same appointment is rescheduled a second time, a 50% deposit will be required to reserve a new appointment. The deposit will be applied toward your service when the appointment is completed. If the appointment is rescheduled again after a deposit has been made, the deposit will be forfeited and a new deposit will be required to book another appointment. Repeated rescheduling can be especially difficult with longer appointments, as a larger amount of time has been reserved and may be difficult to refill. • You will be unable to cancel your appointment online with less than 48 hours’ notice. Please call/text 507-251-1642 with your notice. • This policy applies to all cancellations, including illness, emergencies, childcare issues, weather, or other unexpected circumstances. I completely understand that these situations are often unavoidable. As an independent stylist, I’m unable to absorb the loss of income from last-minute cancellations or repeatedly moved appointments. Thank you for respecting my time and my small business.
